Alexis Robidet is a film director, graduating from the Paris Film School (Ecole Superieur de Cineastes de Paris). His dual citizenship and years living both Mexico and France have given him unique training and qualifications from both countries.
After a few years making video clips professionally, Alexis returns to México where he collaborates with different renowned film companies, assisting Jorge Ruz in Film Core and later, Rodrigo Garcia in Central Films.
In 2002 he joins Central Films where he is in charge of the directing department as a Showrunner. It is in this department where he develops and supervises the creativity for all the company’s projects and has the opportunity to direct his own projects.
His work is characterized by a pronounced interest in photography, textures, and an uncomplicated narrative, always looking for an emotive and human side of stories and
creating striking products, which have won him several prizes in México and abroad.
On March 2009 he opens his own production company, La Liga Films, where he constantly undertakes projects as a director, collaborating with publicity agencies like Proeza, McCann, Leo Burnett, and Ogilvy among others. He works as the executive producer for Loreal’s international campaigns directed by well-known French director, Olivier Venturini.
In 2011 he joins the Camaleon Films team and decides to partner with Luis Carreola to create a digital boutique, Camaleon 2.1, entering the world of digital development and content.
Since 2015, Alexis works as a freelance director, collaborating with different production companies. He is always searching for original projects with a good creative approach that allows him to freely express himself.
